Surgical care at Yanet facilities has evolved significantly over the past five years. Laparoscopic surgery, which uses small incisions and a camera to guide the procedure, is now our standard approach for appendectomies, cholecystectomies, and selected gynecological procedures. Patients typically leave hospital within 24–48 hours compared to 5–7 days for open procedures. Patient safety is central to our surgical protocols. Every center follows WHO Surgical Safety Checklists, supported by our ISO 9001:2015 quality management system. Infection rates are monitored monthly and benchmarked against international standards. Our trauma surgery capacity has also expanded significantly. The Yanet Trauma Center in Hawassa now handles complex road traffic injuries, polytrauma, and orthopedic emergencies, with a dedicated 24-hour surgical team. Post-operative care is equally important. Our dedicated physiotherapy and rehabilitation teams support patients through recovery, with structured follow-up protocols ensuring full clinical monitoring.
